Inside

The year 1945, the island of Jersey, just after the war. Grace (Nicole Kidman) waits for her husband, who has not returned from the front, and alone raises two children with a rare disease: sunlight can kill them.

In a large, fog-shrouded house, its rules apply. The curtains are always drawn, and no door must be opened before the previous one has closed. When three new servants stand on the doorstep, and her daughter begins to talk about people no one sees except her, the world Grace has built begins to crack.
