You enter a world where reality intertwines with
Imagination, and logic gives way to absurdity.
Every movement, breath, sound, word, element of the costume are
part of a larger puzzle, the meaning of which may elude. “Intro

You can be who you want to be for a moment. But in a dream - as it is in a dream -
desires mingle with nightmares,” reads Peter's review
Dobrowolsky.
“Intro” consists of a series of dance etudes created
by nine artists of Teatr Klucz and united in colorful,
choreographic landscape by Janusz Orlik. These people do not play roles
written by others, but they build their own stage presence, drawing from
own experiences, desires and imagination. It's their stories, their visions, their
the courage to cross the boundaries — physical and those that exist only in
our heads.
Beneath the surface of “Intro”, another story pulsates — about
exclusion, stereotypes and a world that mercilessly rejects what is not
It is part of his idea of perfection.
“Klucz Theatre is once again putting the theatrical to shame
Mainstream. Intro at the same time
an absurd fiesta and a political blow to the nose of the mentzens of this world,” he concluded in
Review by Dominik Gac.
“Intro” is a manifesto of courage, creativity and need
expression. Music, body, chaos and order—all this is made up of
an experience that can surprise, amuse, confuse you, or
and change.
The play “Intro” took 16th place in the list of 25 most interesting performances of the 2025-26 season in Poland, published by the monthly “Teatr”. In addition, the magazine's critics singled out the show for its choreography.
“The Key Theatre is a phenomenon. Poznanska
group led for several seasons by choreographer and dancer Janusz Orlik
has grown into one of the most interesting phenomena of Polish theater,” he writes in the pages
“Theater” Dominik Gac.

REVIEWS:
Ø Piotr Dobrowolski “I become”:
A performance in which the artists
and artists - using images, movement, costumes and only very rarely operating
In words, they describe their world. At the same time, they oscillate on the border of stage fiction
and hard reality.”
“The intro is a play about the freedom that is possible in the theater, but
It is also about its limitations, which even the theatre cannot overcome.”
“Actresses and actors of the Theater
Key use their particular job to address the topic of roles and responsibilities
social, dreams and necessities that are sometimes conditioned by our
bodies, for many of us - though not all equally - being
It's a special kind of prison.”
“Accuracy - ostensibly
ambiguous - the performance of the Klucz Theater reminds us that to the theater, and especially
You can't go to such a theater with impunity.”
Ø Dominik Gac “Do not sleep!” :
“Poznan artists are not
They explain themselves by difference, they delight in it. Everyone present on the stage
Performers have an added charisma.”
“The intro is ironic,
artistically refined, at times touching and acute. (...) at the same time
is a proof of the maturity of the Poznań team, which celebrates
20th anniversary (and decade of professional work at CK Zamek).”
Ø Jadwiga Śmielecka “Fasten your belts, we are taking off”:
“The multi-threaded spectacle slips away
with clear interpretations. However, understanding is not the main thing here —
certainly not as important as being open to experiencing and feeling. “Intro”
is a manifestation of the need to be seen and heard.”
“The intro is an important spectacle. It proves that art and theater still have
chance for originality, can carry original meanings and fulfill important
social tasks.”
