Isabel

Isabel, a sommelier from São Paulo, works in one of the upscale restaurants in the city. And he sincerely hates this place. She dreams of opening an intimate wine bar, where it is she who will decide what goes to the guests' glasses. Her plans ripen slowly like wine in barrels. However, there comes a time when he has to take a chance and bet everything on one card.

“Isabel” is a story full of tenderness and perverse humor about a woman who fights for her dreams and knows how to enjoy life, and about the seemingly surprising everyday life. The film was produced by Rodrigo Teixeira, the Oscar-winning producer of “I'm Still Here,” and premiered at this year's Berlinale.
