Venue: HAU2
Eleven dancers, a powerful choreography: “Piece of Changes” makes collective powerlessness physically tangible — and counteracts their resistance, solidarity and the power of change.
“Piece of Changes,” the new work by choreographer and dancer Isabelle Schad, is a piece of change and at the same time a search for change. In an age of multiple crises, the new creation opposes the current, collective powerlessness of physically experienced forms of resistance, permeability and connectedness. In a powerful choreography, a group of eleven dancers, together with drummer and composer Anders Vestergaard, negotiates their physicality and searches for ways to make their social attitude visible and tangible through physical expenditure, rhythmic dynamics and interpersonal resonance.
