ISOLATION BERLIN

And out of the clouds is the time /10 years of Berlin School/ Protopop “The best band in the capital.” (Christian Ihle, Musikexpress)

Ten years is a long time. And yet “Alles Grau” still sounds just as urgent as it did back then, “Fahr Weg” sounds just as much like departure, “Aquarium” still sounds just as much like anything that can't be put into words. In February 2016, Isolation Berlin released their debut album Und aus den Wolken tropft die Zeit, accompanied by the EP collection Berliner Schule/Protopop, released on the Berlin label Staatsakt. Critics and press rolled over: a great, melancholy work, one of the best German-language albums of the year. What followed was a decade of further acclaimed releases and a band that had long since earned its place in the memory of the music scene. Isolation Berlin will return to the stage for several exclusive concerts in February 2027. With both debut works in the bag. Anyone who was there back then knows why. If you don't, you'll know it afterwards.
