Jacob Aksjoy

After three years on the road with intimate solo concerts, Jacob Aksis ready to turn up the volume. Now he returns to the stage with a brand new, fiery band and invites to a concert in DR Koncerthuset.

The audience can look forward to an evening when Akslæde's greatest hits are given new life wrapped in energy, community singing and the special warmth that has made him a permanent name on the Danish pop scene.

“When I go on stage in November, it will be 3 years since I've played a headliner gig with my band. I have toured the country with my solo concerts, collected thoughts, songs and not least ENERGY! Now I'm ready to burn it all off at two big parties in Copenhagen and Aarhus with a brand new brand hot band. Everything is new, yet it feels like home to stand on stage with a band in front of you!” says Jacob Aks.

With four EPs, four albums and hits such as “Giv Lys Igen”, “Promilleromantikken”, “Halvgud”, “Next Summer” and “Phantom Feelings”, Akshas long since cemented itself as one of the country's most present voices. His songs have been heard at parties, infatuations and pensive nights, and on the long-awaited album Blåbjørvej show new sides of him as an artist.

When Jacob Aksposes again in front of the audience with a band, it will be a comeback filled with new life, new events and an exuberant energy that brings together everything you love him for.
