17 October 2026, Saturday, 18:00, 1 Granary Street, free admission
We cordially invite you to a unique event at Granary! Already on October 17 at 18:00 a unique screening. Admission is free!
The multimedia lecture “How General Dąbrowski expelled the Czarta from Bydgoszcz” is an event — a bold combination of cinematic grotesque in the style of silent cinema with a completely serious historical narrative conducted by expert historians and enthusiasts of the history of Polish weapons. The production, of course, describes the battle of Bydgoszcz over the stone bridge, fought in October 1794, but the background of the argument was fragments of a film-monument allegedly found in Kolkata.
The program was implemented in the open air of the City on the Brda and in Ostromecko, involving employees of the Municipal Cultural Center, friends of Barka Lemar. Concept, script and direction: Adam Gajewski.
COMFORT OF PARTICIPATION:
If you need a sign language interpreter or a guardian for a person with special needs during the event, we encourage you to contact the Equality and Social Innovation Section of the Splot Miejski Centrum Kultury w Bydgoszcz: tel. 52 32 55 545, e-mail: splot@mck-bydgoszcz.pl.
