How to prepare for the end of the world? Introduction to Modern Prepping | Horror Day 2026

Does the post-apocalypse really look like movies and computer games show? Or does preparing for a crisis begin with much more likely scenarios, such as blackouts, water outages, infrastructure failures or the need for an emergency evacuation?

During the meeting, participants will learn the basic principles of modern prepping, i.e. preparation for crisis situations. During the lecture combined with the practical demonstration, the following will be discussed, among others:

— assembling an evacuation backpack,

— planning evacuations and creating contingency plans,

— preparation of stocks,

— ways of filtering and treating water,

— emergency sources of light, energy and communications,

— the most common myths about survival and prepping.

Participants will be able to see and compare different pieces of equipment used in emergency situations and talk about practical aspects of preparing themselves and their loved ones for unforeseen events.
