Lecture devoted to the organization and readership of the underground press and ephemeral prints. The press distribution system will be presented, profiles of selected magazine editors and columnists will also be presented.
The lecture will be enriched with a multimedia presentation, which will include archival documents, photographs and souvenirs, from the collections of the Warsaw Museum, among others.
The lecture will be led by Julian Borkowski, historian, curator of the Warsaw Research Department at the Warsaw Museum. He deals with the history of Warsaw in the 20th century, his interests include: anti-Nazi propaganda within the framework of the “N” campaign, the history of the Home Army, the history of Warsaw scouting with particular emphasis on the period of occupation and the Warsaw Uprising. Co-author of exhibitions on Warsaw themes, author and co-author of publications and articles. Awarded “Pro Patria” and “Meritorious Cultural Activist” medals.
