Somehow it is — impro workshops for continuing

This time we will try to look at improvisation more broadly — not just as a series of single, funny scenes, but as a story that unfolds before the eyes of the audience. We will begin to explore what long form is, how to build relationships between characters, return to previous plots, develop stage worlds and allow subsequent scenes to form a single coherent whole. We will practice mindfulness, trust in partners and patience in developing ideas. Instead of looking for a punchline at all costs, we will try to give the scenes time, explore their potential and build stories together that no one had planned before.

The classes are conducted by Michał Szendzielorz, who studied improvisation at the school “Impro Silesia”. He is part of the impro group So It Went Out. It has been cooperating with the Ternogórski Centrum Kultury since 2024. This workshop is a combination of his two passions: improv and supporting others in their development.

Classes for adults. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes to feel full freedom of movement.
