Jamie Baum & Leszek Hefi Wiśniowski Quartet

The collaboration between Jamie Baum and Leszek Hefi Wiśniowski has been developing for several years and has resulted in concerts in the United States, including in New York and Orlando. The new project is a continuation of their artistic relationship, bringing together two expressive personalities representing the American and European jazz scene.

The program is based on the original compositions of both leaders, inspired by contemporary jazz, contemporary music, world music and free improvisation. Each concert is a creative dialogue of four musicians, in which composition and improvisation interpenetrate each other.

The hallmark of the design is the rarely found instrumentation. The combination of two flutes with Hammond organ and percussion creates a modern, spatial and energetic sound, combining the singleness of the flutes with the harmonic richness of the organ and the creative play of the drums.
