Jaromír Nahavica

He is known and loved as much in Poland as in his homeland in the Czech Republic. During the concerts of the Czech bard, thousands of spectators fill up to the last place. Nohavica belongs to the singers around whom a bewitching mystery is created. He bravely moves between folk and folklore, he is a real bard of his region.

It is about life and death, but above all about what is in between: about love, suffering, doubts and fears of modern man, about the beauty of the world around us, small joys and great passions. She knows Polish very well and conducts her concerts in Poland in Polish. He recorded more than a dozen records.

The latest is called Poruba — it is the name of the Ostrava district, with which he has many memories and where everything began in his life: first loves, friendships, acquaintances, but also quarrels and chicanery.

Moment of Inattention

It is a band that has been creating and touring for more than a decade, meandering skillfully between sung poetry, folk, artistic song and even jazz. The band is strongly associated with Silesian culture, to which it returns, composing and writing also in Silesian. Cultivating this intergenre mishung in the musical and textual layer, he consistently fails to categorize himself, constantly surprising with new ideas. On stage, the Moment of Inattention feels best, putting heart, musical artistry, spontaneity and sense of humor into the concerts, which brings them an ever-growing crowd of fans.

The band was awarded at the most prestigious festivals of poetic, folk and artistic song in Poland (Student Song Festival in Krakow, Polish Radio Festival Nowa Tradycja, YAPA in Łódź, Wojtek Bellon Festival).

The group has as many as five studio albums: “Incorrect Music” (2011), “Mishung” with guest participation of Maciej Balcar (Dżem) and Jarosław Treliński (Raz Dwa Trzy) (2013), “Anieli strance” (2016), “Dostone Żytko” (2021) and “Szarok” (2023), as well as participation in more than a dozen compositions musical compositions (including several mixes from the series “Towards the Land of Gentleness”). In 2018, the band's live album “Morawska Brama” was also released.

Cuba Blokesz

Collects songs. He looks for words and music that make a difference. He meets with Listeners on records, on the Internet and during concerts, helping them leave the troubles of everyday life behind them. He deals with songs because it is in them that the most sincere stories about people pulsate.
