What does it feel like to always be first? When you are the first, you can not go wrong, because others will duplicate your mistakes. You have to be perfect, the best, the most careful. However, does an honorable first place have to be something everyone is waiting for? Or did the First Star never want to be first? Being prepared from an early age to play the role of the Brightest Shining, she feels symptoms of burnout. The less time he has until Christmas, the less light he can bring out. The problem is that he cannot tell anyone about it, because the pressure from the family is getting stronger and stronger. Or maybe it's worth looking at other phenomena and looking at the sky, where no one shines the brightest, and everyone is simply visible with his usual, average light.
The premiere was created as part of the project “Holidays of almost all”, which was co-financed by the European Union - the Reconstruction and Resilience Fund (NextGenerationEU) as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Anna Czajkowska — Shine, star, as you wish and know
Radek Łukasiewicz's music, performed in an unusual way, plays a big role in the warm humor, sung and danced story. The musical ensemble consists of actors: Katarzyna Brzozowska, Honorata Królikiewicz, Tomasz Kowol and Adam Wnuczko, who themselves proposed such an unusual solution to the director. Of course, they also play their roles and sing rapturously! Her velvety voice impresses especially Anna Przygoda — “the second who really wants to be the first” — and Honorata Królikiewicz in the hilarious role of a lady with a dog and Katarzyna Brzozowska as the queen of the galaxy. On the other hand, Elżbieta Pejko and Damian Kamiński go crazy on stage in the costumes of the Fireflies, performing joyful songs with humor and bravado.

Paulina Sygnatowicz — “Brighter!” is a spectacle that allows you to stop for a moment and ask yourself if we are all really looking forward to the same thing this Christmas
The show very aptly shows that the desire to be “the best” can be a source of anxiety and tension for the youngest. It is also a story about the pressure that adults can unconsciously put on their children, expecting them to realize not their own, but the unfulfilled dreams of their parents. The little one, with its characteristic tenderness, reminds adults that it is necessary to look more carefully: not to project your own ambitions, but to listen to what the child is trying to say - even if he does it in a whisper. And it gives the little ones the courage to speak directly what they want and what they fear. This is a valuable message, not only in a festive atmosphere.
Beata Kośmider — Less pressure, more closeness
The audience leaves the show with tension relieved, as if the pressure they put on themselves and others on a daily basis, including in the parent-child relationship, has eased by at least one degree.
Wiesław Kowalski — You Don't Have to Shine to Shine
“Brighter!” is undoubtedly one of the most interesting family dramas created in recent years. The author deliberately escapes from the literal — he chooses metaphor instead of a didactic tone, and the world of stars is a space in which children's emotions acquire a symbolic scale.
