Kasia Pietrzko and her trio debuted in 2017 with great success receiving: Mateusz Trójka, Fryderyk nomination and Grand Prix Jazz Melomani.

The album “Fragile Ego” combining impressionism and strong expression is the third album of the band Kasia Pietrzko Trio. The feminine energy of the artist has influenced in a fascinating way the strength of her new compositions: their multilayeredness, multithreadedness and multi-style. The improvisation of the artist has become catchy, bold, with a strong message, while remaining strongly melodic.

The album was released in the Polish Jazz series. Kasia Pietrzko is the first pianist, composer and leader in the history of this oldest jazz record series, which has been released for 58 years.

The album “Fragile Ego” is the result of using the full potential of the musicians of the band, which Kasia Pietrzko creates together with drummer Piotr Budniak and double bass player Andrzej Święs. The composer, in order to achieve a rich sound, does not add another voice, but exposes the possibilities of each member of the team.
