JAZZ VISIONS #8. LUNAMA & Jakub Jan Bryndal

LUNAMË — Maciej Ką's new band. A bold combination of jazz, indie-funk, electro and Polish folk motifs, wrapped in trance, mesmerizing structures. It is a project that balances between the world of electronic music and intuitive improvisation. It is a space where the pulse meets the emotion and the sounds lead the listener on a journey beyond the limits of everyday life. Improvisation still remains a key element, but it is embedded in a world of deep bass, rhythmic repetition and spatial harmony.

During the concert at the Consulate of Culture, the band will be joined by Jakub Jan Bryndal.

Jakub Jan Bryndal — rapper, songwriter and performer distinguished by his characteristic style based on a conscious word and openness to musical experiments. His work combines hip-hop with elements of jazz, electronics and alternative music, so he naturally finds himself in projects that cross genre boundaries. The collaboration with LUNAMË brings a new narrative layer and fresh energy to the concerts, expanding the sound of the band with contemporary rap expression.

Tickets for this event are also available as part of the Gdynia My City card. Tickets can be picked up directly at the ticket office of the Consulate of Culture (25 Jana z Kolna Street), as the purchase requires scanning the resident's card in the system.

Tickets for this event entitle you to free public transport in the area of the Municipality of the City of Gdynia on the day of the event (Saturdays and public holidays).
