JAZZ IN JOSEPH: ARTUR DUTKIEWICZ TRIO FEAT. ETHAN PHILION

NOVEMBER 22 (SUNDAY) AT 6:00 P.M.

The musicians met on stage during the XV International Jazz Day in Chicago, in April 2026, where Artur Dutkiewicz, Ethan Philion and Sebastian Kuchczyński delighted the international audience. Now their musical energy can be heard in Józefów. The program will include Artur Dutkiewicz's compositions from his latest albums, as well as premiere songs that will sound in front of the audience for the first time. The trio presents original, modern jazz, in which free improvisation meets elements of free jazz, inspirations from Polish folk music and sounds from different cultures of the world.

It is music full of emotion and space — on the one hand expressive and exuberant, on the other reflective and saturated with depth. The virtuosity of the instrumentalists, the courage of improvisation and the exceptional sensitivity make each concert of the trio a unique musical event. The concert is part of the band's autumn tour, which also includes the prestigious International Festival of Jazz Pianists in Kalisz.
