Jazz Club/Maciej Obara Quartet feat. Mathias Eick/Spades and fjords

Maciej Obara's Polish-Norwegian quartet will perform in a more Norwegian version this time. The guest of the band, in which Dominik Vanya (piano), Ole Morten Vågan (double bass) and Gard Nilssen (drums) will play alongside the leader, will be trumpeter Mathias Eick. The artist also records for the Munich label ECM, where he has already released six original albums. Mathias Eick brings a distinctive lyrical sound inspired by folk motifs to the new, extended version of the Obara band, colliding them with the improvisational energy and temperament of the quartet. The starting point for this artistic meeting is the premiere compositions of the quartet leader.
