JazzClub/Marek Napiórkowski Sextet/Relay of Generations

The honors and distinctions that Marek Napiórkowski received for his artistic activity make up an endless list. We will find the laurels of the prestigious survey of the magazine “Jazz Forum”, the Fryderyk, Mateusz Trójka award, nominations for the Polish Film Awards “Eagles”, the Koryfeusz Prize of Polish Music. A similar calculation can be made from the names of musicians with whom Marek Napiórkowski collaborated and who he hosted on his own albums. The original Sextet of the guitarist can also be safely described as “all stars” - it is played by undisputed stars of the national jazz scene, representing several of its generations. Sextet's concert recordings from 2016, recorded at the Trójki radio studio, received a nomination for Fryderyk.
