Trumpeter and composer Markus Stockhausen is considered one of the most versatile musicians of our time. In his compositions he combines jazz, classics, contemporary music. He refers to the legacy of his father Karlheinz Stockhausen (1928—2007), using electronic instruments on stage, subtly supporting the band's sound. Markus Stockhausen's latest album is called Celebration. During the concert we can also expect a kind of celebration of the music presented by the quartet. Celebration in the best sense of the word: rich arrangements, fascinating improvisations, sensitivity to detail and smooth crossing of genre boundaries.
