Jazz Club/Richard Andersson Trio feat. Sullivan Fortner & Jorge Rossy/ Trio with the Past

Double bassist Richard Andersson, one of the most industrious musicians of the Danish jazz scene, presents a new unique trio that can be described as a star without hesitation. Jorge Rossy, a drummer and vibraphonist, has collaborated with Andersson on numerous recording sessions. Sam Andersson is an esteemed sideman who has appeared on almost 200 (!) albums, including Brad Mehldau, Wayne Shorter and Charlie Haden. Sullivan Fortner, in turn, is a classmate of the double bass player from the Manhattan School of Music. The pianist also played on Andersson's debut album. Currently, as a three-time Grammy winner, he has joined the Richard Andersson Trio. In March 2027, an album will be released, on which the musicians will present the compositions of the leader, the songs of Bill Evans and a handful of standards.
