The truth is at the bottom of the bottomless... by Tentno, released by Alpaka in Gdańsk, was one of the most anticipated albums of recent years. Apparently, while working on the recording, Krzysztof Hadrych, the leader of the band, was still not quite sure whether he was a jazz musician or a metal musician. And maybe it would be good if he never solved this dilemma — because it is precisely because of the different means of expression and the tension between them that the group's music makes such an impression. Hadrych does not pretend that the guitar is not a guitar, and in his game all the beautiful and definitely not only jazz history of this instrument sounds. There are outbursts, couplings and stunning virtuosity, and in compositions the idea chases the idea. Jazz, metal, math rock, minimal, free — these musicians are not afraid of anything and won't back down.
