JAZZ RIDE IN ŁÓDŹ

Jazz Ride is a series of lectures and concerts introducing listeners to the secrets of improvised music. The project is implemented by the Lodz House of Culture with Partners.

We invite you on Wednesday 18 November at 17.00. Free tickets to be picked up soon at the box office of the Fenix cinema.

About the project:

We want to show how great the potential and joy of creating jazz music brings. Jazz is the art of interaction both of this ensemble, but especially of this interaction with the listener.

In a casual way, we will literally invite participants to a musical meeting with a jazz band. We will explain what happens in this jazz at all, what to direct our ears to and how we should listen to this jazz in order to enjoy it.

The meeting is divided into sections:

📌 Presentation “A Very Short History of Jazz” — a fascinating journey through eras and styles

📌 Jazz Listening Workshops — Learn how to enjoy this unique music

📌 Live concert

There will be:

Marek Kądziela — guitar, conducting

Paweł Puszło — double bass

Kacper Kažmierski — drums
