Her height operetta

Her Majesty the Operetta is an evening with the Queen of Polish Operetta — Grażyna Brodzińska. Her artistry, style and charisma are at the heart of this event: the brilliance of waltzes, chardas and arias takes on a special splendor when the artist who has been called the “First Lady of the Operetta” leads us through it for years. Brodzińska will be joined by two extraordinary singers: Albert Memeti (tenor) and Jakub Milewski (baritone).

During the concert, pearls of salon entertainment and operetta classics will sound from the stage: from the brilliant song “Great Fame is a Joke” and fragments of “The Gypsy Baron”, through the sensual “Bésame mucho” and the energetic “Dance All Night”, to duet fireworks from “Countess Marica” and “Princess Czardy Asha”. The finale will culminate in a moving “Time to Say Goodbye”.

Emilia Czekała is responsible for the dramaturgy and lightness of the story, who will introduce more works behind the scenes, and Marek Czekała watches over the pulsating rhythm and color of the score, leading the Bydgoszcz Symphony Orchestra through dance elevations and romantic cantinoles.
