Jens Konrad

Jens Konrad moves in a field of contemporary Danish-language indie pop, where melancholic everyday tales and organic productions merge.

After a critically acclaimed debut album and backing from Danish music press and radio, Jens Konrad has been on a tour of Denmark in the summer of 2026 that culminates in his only headliner concert in Copenhagen at RUST on October 11.

For this concert, Jens Konrad releases his first single from an upcoming album project — and for the first time plays tracks from the upcoming release side by side with a collection of all his best-known songs from the back catalogue. With a big, catchy chorus and a personal text that culminates in the line: “Because I miss you — so will you be there for me?” the song becomes a direct call to reach out, even when it's most difficult.

Jens Konrad has made a name for himself, not only in Denmark, but also on the international scene as a member of the band Lyra Valenza and the frontman of the band SENSO, whose debut album 'The Void In Us' was featured on several lists of the best releases of the year, including Soundvenue and Politiken. Jens Konrad has also played support for August Høyen in a sold out Store Vega and Johnny Deluxe in the sold out Pumpehuset.

In 2026, you could see Jens Konrad on screen in the DR P3 series Fars Dørg, in which he co-stars with his father, Sigurd Barrett. The series gives an insight into their relationship and Jens Konrad's personal journey in the world of music.

Jens Konrad released his debut album 'Stjernesjæl' in December 2024, which received, among other things, 5 stars in GAFFA (which predicted Jens Konrad 'a colossal career.'). But with his new single, Jens Konrad builds on that path and continues his project of writing Danish-language pop that dares to be both life-like and unflinchingly honest.
