Autumn garden full of power: Vitamin wonders-mary | In the green cycle

The November garden can be full of life, even if the season of intense growth is slowly coming to an end. At the next meeting “In the green cycle” we will look at how to prepare the closest nature for winter, take care of its small inhabitants, and at the same time use seasonal vegetables, fruits and herbs to prepare something delicious.

We will spend the first part of the meeting in our central garden, where autumn hedgehog cleaning awaits us. We will put on gloves, grab the rakes and see that fallen leaves and twigs do not always have to be treated as waste. Instead of throwing them away, we will use natural materials to create a winter shelter for hedgehogs, and by the way, we will talk about what the wild animals that live right next to us need and how we can support urban nature without interfering too much with its rhythm.

After working in the fresh air, we will move to the kitchen laboratory, where our “Vitamin Wonders-Marys” will begin. Using seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs, we will prepare colorful cocktails, combine different ingredients, learn new flavors and convince ourselves that a valuable meal can be prepared together, creatively and without complicated recipes. Each child will be able to create his own composition and see what combination he likes best.

The workshop will be led by Anna Khlebnikova (MiastowGrod) — educator and animator who, through practical activities, encourages children and adults to observe nature carefully, use its resources responsibly and discover that ecology is best learned through experience.

We provide tools, gardening gloves, and fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs needed to make smoothies. Ticket price: 30 zł
