Imagine a quiet apartment, an exquisite dinner, a foot massage and long, intimate monologues. Sounds romantic? Not necessarily. Because Elżbieta sits tied to a chair, and Wiesław — an inconspicuous accountant in his forties, lonely and deathly bored with life — has just realized his peculiar plan for closeness.
The play begins like a dark crime novel, but when Wiesław sets Elizabeth free, the woman... stays. Delighted with the care, attention and emotions that she lacked in her monotonous life, she professes love and weaves a vision of a common future. What does Wiesław say? Is he ready for a feeling that he absolutely did not plan?
Anna Burzyńska's text is a funny, intimate story about the fact that love can surprise at the least expected moment and that sometimes one unplanned meeting is enough for everything to change.
Remember, if you want a woman — you better think carefully, because love can take you away faster than you think.
