Poland is not dead yet... as long as we laugh

“Poland is not dead yet... while we laugh” is both an extraordinary comedy about the power of theatre, as well as an unusual patriotic melodrama set in Poznań. The action begins as the theater troupe prepares to stage the play “Gestapo”, however, soon these plans are interrupted by the outbreak of the Second World War, leading to the closure of the theater. The whole team goes into resistance. The audience has the opportunity to go behind the theatrical backstage, where intrigues and relationships are born, which adds flavor to the plot. At no time can the viewer be absolutely sure whether what he is watching is reality or staged fabrication. Falsehood is mixed with truth, and the artistry of Poznań actors is used in the fight against the German occupier. As it turns out, sometimes determination, cunning and power of persuasion are enough to save the country from destruction.
