What happens to a word when it is spoken? It acquires rhythm, emotion and life. This year's performance by the participants of the XIII LOGOS FEST Recitation Tournament will be an attempt to revive William Shakespeare's stanzas.
Each of the performers will present one Shakespeare text and one work by the author who translated his works into Polish. It is a meeting of the original with the voices of its translators and, above all, with the individual sensitivity of the young interpreters.
However, participants will not perform in the traditional format of competitive presentations. Their interpretations will become elements of a common stage story, in which the word, the voice and the presence of the other person will create a space for dialogue.
We invite you to a show in which Shakespeare's literature will come to life thanks to those who today dare to give it their own voice.
