Swan Lake

“Swan Lake” - performance of the Grand Royal Ballet

The greatest phenomenon of ballet art, which for more than a hundred years has invariably delighted the audience of the whole world. A timeless love story about a princess enchanted by a swan, it tells us about universal truths: human passions, the struggle of good against evil, betrayal, pain, but above all about the power of love. A fairy tale combined with the extraordinary music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky composed for the libretto by Vladimir Biegichev and Vasily Gelcer will introduce viewers to the beautiful, magical world of classical ballet.

Will love win with evil and supernatural powers? Does fighting for dreams make sense? Is the pursuit of a goal more important than achieving it? These questions are answered by an audience transported into a fairytale world that has surprisingly much in common with the one in which we live.
