Joe Martin is a 21st-century troubadour whose rich, resonant voice, timeless songwriting, and heartfelt storytelling have earned him growing attention on both sides of the Atlantic.

Performing across the UK, Europe, and at legendary venues in Nashville, Tennessee, Martin has built a reputation as one of the UK’s finest modern troubadours, blending classic Americana influences with his own distinctive style and sensibility. Deeply rooted in the classic American tradition, Joe’s sound draws from a wide range of folk, country, and singer-songwriter influences.

Artists such as Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Townes Van Zandt, Jason Isbell, Kacey Musgraves, The Civil Wars, Chris Stapleton, Colter Wall, Brent Cobb, and the wider world of Dave Cobb-produced Americana have all helped shape his musical direction. At the heart of his work is a dedication to storytelling, lyric, melody, and emotional honesty.

Joe Martin is a 21st-century troubadour whose rich, resonant voice, timeless songwriting and heartfelt storytelling have earned him growing recognition on both sides of the Atlantic. Performing throughout the UK and Europe and at celebrated venues in Nashville, he blends classic country and Americana with a distinctive British sensibility. His music draws inspiration from artists including James Taylor, Paul Simon, Townes Van Zandt, Jason Isbell, Kacey Musgraves and The Civil Wars, with lyric, melody and emotional honesty always at its heart.

Inspired by the television series Nashville, Joe developed a deep appreciation for country music’s storytelling tradition. In 2017 and again in 2018, he performed at Nashville’s world-famous Bluebird Cafe. His visits to Music City have also led to collaborations with respected writers and musicians, including Johnny Garcia, Jill Colucci and Aaron Raitiere, with whom he co-wrote at RCA Studios on Music Row.

Following his acclaimed 2017 debut EP, Small World, Joe released a series of singles, the Nashville-inspired EP Bound For Lonesome and the live album The First Five Years. His debut studio album, Empty Passenger Seat, arrived in 2023 and was followed by extensive touring across the UK and Europe. His latest album, Alone In Valentine, was recorded over seven days in Nashville with Cal Campbell and Cornelius Webb, sons of Glen Campbell and Jimmy Webb. Created live with leading session musicians, it bridges musical generations while preserving the spirit of classic Country and Americana.

Praised for his “superb melodies,” “fantastic voice” and “outstanding lyrics,” Joe has been described by The New York Times as “a young Englishman with a rich, resonant voice” who seemed “primed for bigger things.” With an expanding international profile and a catalogue defined by honesty and lyrical craft, he continues to carry the troubadour tradition forward through songs that feel both timeless and unmistakably his own.

Christie Huff

Christie performed at festivals and venues across the U.S., Canada, London, and Norway, with stops in New York City, Seattle, Nashville, Colorado, North Carolina, Arizona, and more. I also made my Norway festival debut at Vikedal Roots Music Festival and have continued expanding my touring internationally.

Over the years, she had the honour of opening for artists including Keith Urban, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, and Old Dominion. In Nashville, Huff performed at events including Whiskey Jam and CMA Fest, and my music has accumulated over 16 million Spotify streams. Her songs have also been featured on Spotify playlists including Hot Country, New Boots, and Wild Country.

Christie has been releasing a lot of new music this year as well, including “Starry Night,” “Hypothetically Speaking,” “401k,” and most recently, “When In Rome.”
