We invite you to a new series of Sunday meetings with yoga in the space of Zachęta — National Gallery of Art. In the environment of contemporary art, among works that move the imagination and the senses, we encourage the practice of being mindful of the here and now. Yoga in Zachęta is a proposal of regular classes that will take place every Sunday, offering participants a unique experience in an unusual setting.

Each session lasts 60 minutes and includes an introduction through stillness and breathing (pranayama), a gentle vinyasa-style yoga practice - smooth sequences of movements combined with the breath, and final relaxation in the supine position. It is a practice that supports mindfulness, regulation of the nervous system and building contact with the body. Guided with tenderness and attentiveness, adapted to each level of advancement, it will move not only bodies, but also minds and hearts.

Meetings are open to everyone, regardless of experience, gender and age. To participate in the practice, you only need comfortable clothes and an exercise mat.

Julia Krup — teacher of yoga, meditation and breathing. He has been practicing since 2017, teaching since 2022, and conducts vinyasa-style classes, combining movement with pranayama and meditation techniques. She completed, among others, 200h TTC Vinyasa, pranayama, mantra, yoga nidra, neuroyoga and philosophy courses. She holds a master's degree in sociology by education, which brings to her work an attentive, humanistic view of man in all its complexity. He is inspired by the philosophy of yoga, which he explores with passion and his own meditation practice of Zen Buddhism, creating a space where yoga promotes self-contact, mindfulness and inner well-being. Her approach to yoga is deeply functional and inclusive — based on the premise that the practice is meant to serve the human being, not the other way around
