Jordan Rakei unleashes his soul in Store VEGA

Over the past decade, New Zealand-born, British-based musician Jordan Rakei has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary soul, jazz and alternative R&B.

With his distinctive blend of warm melodies, jazz deharmonies and electronic productions, Rakei has built a dedicated global fan base and collaborated with artists such as Tom Misch, Bonobo and Loyle Carner.

His musical curiosity and ability to constantly evolve his expression has made him one of the most respected songwriters and producers of his generation.

Ten years after his debut, Jordan Rakei embarks on a new chapter with his seventh album, A Safe Place To Be Wild, due out in October. The album is based on a freer and more intuitive creative process, where vulnerability and artistic freedom are at the center.

At the same time, Rakei has just released the first single “Enemies”, which gives an insight into the album's sound universe. The release is followed by his biggest headline tour to date through Europe and the UK, which brings him to Store VEGA in Copenhagen.

Last time Jordan Rakei visited Copenhagen, GAFFA awarded five out of six stars and wrote under the headline “Jordan Rakei took us on his magic carpet and flew us to another dimension”.

On March 28, 2027, he will return to Store VEGA as part of his biggest headline tour to date.
