Josiah and The Bonnevilles

With a beating heart in one hand and the guitar in the other

On November 9, Josiah and The Bonnevilles bring their unique blend of folk, americana and country to Little VEGA.

With a deep fascination for traditional, American folk, songwriter Josiah Leming, along with his co-conspirators in The Bonneville, embraces life's rollercoaster rides in an honest and poetic textual universe.

On Josiah Leming's tenth studio album, As It Is, he becomes more electric than ever before. The result is an electrifying release that focuses on joy, grief and working-class issues, which feels more current than ever in a fragmented United States.

His records have always been personal. But on As Is, the songwriter places himself in a more observant role, describing at close quarters all the complex emotions we humans harbor. Josiah Leming says in the press release:

“I want anyone to be able to put it on and not think about me when they're listening. I want them to be in the emotion.”

On the album, he has collaborated with some of the biggest Nashville names in the form of the Grammy-winning Natalie Hemby (Lady Gaga, Miranda Lambert) and Joel Little (Lorde, Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan).

The songs on As Is highlight Leming's vivid sense of heartfelt lyrics, always expressed longingly by his charismatic, vulnerable vocals. With melodious arrangements and an almost documentary approach to storytelling, the band strikes a nerve that feels both classic and contemporary.

Josiah Leming is known for letting audiences completely into his thoughts and heart. On November 9, you can soar all the way in there in Little VEGA.
