Joy Oladokun

Celebrating the release of her bold new album Hope Is A Heavy Thing, critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Joy Oladokun brings her vital, genre-defying sound to Roundhouse.

A queer Black musician and daughter of Nigerian immigrants, Oladokun has become one of today’s most compelling cultural voices. Her music effortlessly weaves Nashville folk songwriting with rich African percussion and contemporary pop—exploring identity, resilience, and belonging with deep emotional clarity.

Praised by The New York Times, NPR, and Billboard, and featuring past collaborations with Noah Kahan, Brandi Carlile, and Chris Stapleton, Oladokun delivers a soaring, poetic, and profoundly moving live experience you won’t want to miss.
