What does Judaism sound like? Jewish pop music and synagogal singing get the participants in the mood. The group discusses what constitutes Jewish music. The tour through the permanent exhibition focuses on religion and rituals based on various sensory impressions.
Visitors touch or smell objects and listen to sound stations that let them experience the polyphonic Jewish culture and religion: What forms do Hebrew letters have? How are synagogues constructed and what scent does Shabbat emit? The participants learn about various traditions and religious interpretations within Judaism and become familiar with dietary regulations.
Interactions with the exhibition enable individual experiences and provide space for group discussions.
