Christmas concert with Fredensborg Slotskirkes Pigkor

Start your Christmas holidays in Louisiana and get in the best Christmas mood when Fredensborg Castle Church Girls Choir invites you to a Christmas concert for the whole family in the museum's concert hall. The program of tonight's concert ranges from the familiar to the new, from the smallest to the largest.

It wasn't a night like the others. A Christmas night when everything stood still for a moment in quivering anticipation. The darkness seemed closer, the stars clearer, and a special narrative left its first traces. Christmas is full of those kinds of moments; the quiet, the solemn and the joyous. Traditions and memories come together and are created, and music opens up the layers that words cannot always.

Under the direction of conductor, Cille Buch, Fredensborg Castle Church's Girls Choir sings Christmas in, with a program that moves between the familiar and the surprising. Classic Christmas hymns and beloved Danish songs meet newer sounds, Nordic moods and music that give new life to the Christmas tale. The 40 singers of the Girls' Choir fill the room with clear voices, warm timbres and deep musical immersion.

The concert is without a break and lasts about 1 hour.
