Julia Wolf

NYC’s Julia Wolf brings her emotionally charged alt-pop to KOKO

Julia Wolf is a NYC-based artist whose rise has been defined by an unflinching commitment to lyrics-first storytelling, carving out a space that reaches beyond the confines of genre. Emerging from a slow-burn independent ascent, she broke through with “In My Room” – a deeply confessional track that continues to climb the Billboard Hot 100 and surge across ‘Top Songs’ and ‘Viral’ charts on streaming services.

What sets Wolf apart is her ability to translate intrusive thoughts and quiet insecurities into striking, universally resonant hooks – writing that feels diaristic yet expansive, confronting themes like comparison, self-worth, and longing with rare bluntness. That same emotional honesty defines her live performances, where her songs take on a heightened intensity, connecting with audiences in real time.

Equally at home alongside pop, rap, and dance collaborators like Drake, Yeat, and John Summit, or within the heavier, genre-blurring world of her 2025 album PRESSURE, Wolf’s music resonates across scenes by prioritizing emotional truth over convention, turning raw vulnerability into a powerful, shared experience on stage.
