Bartók's Dance Suite draws on Hungarian and Eastern European folk melodies to dazzling effect, while Berg's Altenberg Lieder brings a luminous intensity to the stage. The evening builds to Dvořák's Symphony No 8, a work of soaring melody and joyous energy. An exhilarating evening that showcases the full range of Junior Guildhall's young musicians.
