Junkyard Drive

Junkyard Drive knocks the distortion pedals into the bottom in VEGA

Since 2014, the Danish tempo specialists in Junkyard Drive have besieged the Danish music scene with their potent, sharp-cut and melodious rock.

Over the past three years, the band has toured extensively in Europe with names such as The Lazys, Steel Panther and Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons.

When Junkyard Drive takes the stage in VEGA it will be with their brand new album Squeeze in the back. The album is the result of an uncompromising DIY approach, with the band taking control of the entire process themselves, from the initial demos to the release.

In 2024, they released their fourth studio album, Look At Me Now, which rumbled outward with a hard-hitting trio of bass lines, eminent guitar riffs and propulsive drums. The music medium Soundscribe wrote in their review:

“Look At Me Now is a powerful reminder that rock music still has the power to move and change, and Junkyard Drive is certainly a band that has their finger on the pulse and is ready to lead the next wave of musical innovation. This album is a must-have for anyone who loves real, authentic rock music with heart and soul.”

The band draws inspiration from mastodons such as Guns N'Roses, The Cult and D-A-D, but manage to elegantly weave it into their own unique, musical universe.

On November 21, you can soar weightless in the rock cosmos of Junkyard Drive in Lille VEGA.
