Cabal and love

Venue: DT Stage - Ferdinand is crazy about Louise and Louise in love with Ferdinand.

Life could actually be beautiful if it wasn't for her difference in status: Louise is bourgeois and Ferdinand is noble. With unexpected force, this love creates a social conflict that extends into the ranks of the most powerful and shows how political love is. Schiller dissects love and its limits mercilessly and excitingly.

In a co-production with the Thalia Theater Hamburg, director Anne Lenk will let her gaze wander into this abyss of human souls and the interaction with the system surrounding them.

In this first joint production by Thalia Theater and Deutsches Theater Berlin, an ensemble of players from both theaters will be on stage, which will be shown alternately in both cities. From the DT ensemble, these include Felix Göser and Maren Eggert, who returns to Thalia as a guest with this piece.
