Grupa Fest is a Silesian cabaret band from Gliwice founded in 2008 by Jakub Tomaszewski — small stage actor, singer, cabaret player, accompanied by daughters Mirosław and Sabin. The leader of the band has more than 30 years of artistic experience behind him. The Fest group released a total of 5 albums and recorded several music videos. The songs of the band can be heard on Silesian radio stations, regional and national television. Already the first music videos of the group were very successful in the television List of Silesian Szlagierów, occupying the highest places in it. The first disc was released in 2010. On the discs there are only original songs of the band in the style of slager and cabaret. Most of the songs are sung in the Silesian dialect, although the group also sings in literary language but very rarely. Concerts performed by the band are not only fun. It is authentic emotions, positive Silesian energy, uncompromising sound, contact with the public and a truly family atmosphere. Last year, the band played more than 100 concerts.
