Kalaset has in just a few years developed into one of the most notable bands on the Danish music scene. With the album 'Poker, 'which GAFFA named the best Danish album of the year, and a series of sold-out concerts, the group has taken great strides both artistically and live.

The band's music moves between the immediate and the pensive. Danish-language lyrics about youth, restlessness, relationships and longing meet synth-driven arrangements and strong melodies that have given Kalaset an ever-growing audience. On stage, the songs take on a special heaviness, where the great community moments and the quieter passages coexist.

On March 13, KALASET will end their Denmark tour in Amager Bio. The audience can look forward to a concert where the songs from Poker meet favorites from the back catalogue, and where the band's ability to gather a space around the music for the best conditions in the cinema's wide concert space.

The live scene has been crucial to KALASET's development. In 2024, they played to more than 10,000 people on their tour, and the following year a significant development culminated with both festival appearances, strong reviews and two sold-out concerts at Falkonersalen.
After several years of rapid progress, they stand in an exciting place in their career, and the concert in Amager Bio will be an obvious opportunity to experience a band that continues to expand the scope of what they can do.
