The Camel

Norwegian rap comet Kamelen headed for Lille VEGA

Famous and infamous.

This is how you can describe the controversial rapper who last made his way past Lille VEGA in 2023 and is now announcing his return to the Chamber at the beginning of next year - and it will not go quietly.

Because he takes with him a gradually solid repertoire of both old country songs and new hits. Delving into the discography opens up a wealth of releases from the hand of the frequently release-ready rapper.

In 2021, the single “Creme De La Creme” was released, which together with the preceding “STAKKEN”, “FERRARI” and “SIDEN DAG 1" from the album #FRIKJENT if anything catapulted Kamelen up from the underground in his native Norway.

This year alone he has released two singles “Ung forever” and “SOMMERFLIRT2026” and a third is just landed, the number “Straight or Wrong”.

The camel is both street level and critically acclaimed. He has several million streams on Spotify, and in 2018 he won a Spellemann Award for “Breakthrough of the Year”.

On stage, nothing is left to chance. A concert with the Camel demands from the first verse the direct attention of the audience. In a press release, an outline of the mood that awaits in Lille VEGA on January 9:

“The camel has never been particularly interested in doing things the safe way. That's true this time too.”
