“The Career of Nicodemus Dyzma” — a play about how chance and impudence can lift someone completely unprepared to the top.
Nikodem Dyzma - an unemployed provincial - goes to salons and... makes a stunning career. Without knowledge, without scruples, but with the right company and a good dose of luck.
It's a story about how easily incompetence gains power — if only it looks good and speaks in a confident voice.
