The show is prepared for exhibition in a chamber hall.
A wonderful music lesson for the youngest music lovers who, listening to a beautiful fairy tale, learn to recognize the sound of musical instruments: string quintet, wind instruments and pianos.
The Carnival of Animals was composed by the French composer and virtuoso of piano and organ, as well as the conductor of his own works Camille Saint-Saëns and is the most recognizable of his compositions.
The work defined by the creator as a zoological fantasy was created during the period of romanticism. It is a chamber work composed of a cycle of fourteen miniatures, each of which has its own title and is performed by a different composition of performers.
- It was important for us to - without losing this particular value of the pieces - to create a family performance, telling a specific story. We put the action of the show in a circus, which makes the convention of the story spectacular and mysterious. We invite viewers to the world of magic, where in addition to having fun, we want to involve the young audience in the course of the story and at the same time give an opportunity to reflect on such topical issues as freedom and responsibility for others - says the director, Agnieszka Płoszajska.
