Karolina Czarnecka: Potupaja

Karolina Czarnecka is one of the most characteristic figures of the Polish alternative scene - a music artist, performer, songwriter and actress, who has been consistently building her own artistic language for more than a decade. In his music, he freely combines electronic, folk, rap and alternative, creating an expressive world based on strong lyrics and an intense stage presence. He has four original albums and performances at the biggest festivals in Poland and abroad. Today, he is increasingly developing the electronic and club direction of his work.
After the festival, “offline” summer, Karolina Czarnecka enters a new chapter and invites her to a joint “Potupaja” - three autumn meetings filled with electronics, techno, folk and stage energy characteristic of the artist. “Potupaja” is a club version of the world of Czarnecka, prepared together with Zuzanna Ossowska, producer and DJ. Familiar songs return in new arrangements - stronger, more electronic and created primarily to experience them together on the dance floor. Autumn meetings are a natural continuation of the direction that Czarnecka has been developing for years, colliding electronics and alternative pop with folk pulse and traditional sounds. “Potupaja” also appears at a special moment in Czarnecka's work. After a summer spent close to nature, the project “Wild East” and re-immersion in Podlasie roots, the artist directs this energy back to the city. Folk meets electronics, organicity - synthetic sound, and what is archaic gets a new club body. It's three nights suspended between what was and what is yet to come. The first blow of the new, more electronic era of Karolina Czarnecka.
