Kasia Lins — Citizen of K.L. - Songs of Grzegorz Ciechowski
Obywatelka K.L. is a unique project in which Kasia Lins does not pay a simple tribute to Grzegorz Ciechowski, but conducts a personal, artistic dialogue with his work. Adopting the alter ego of Citizens K.L., he reaches for less obvious songs — those that have been overshadowed for years by the biggest hits of the Republic and Citizen G.C. — and gives them a new, contemporary sound.
This is a concert that rediscovers Ciechowski. Instead of a nostalgic journey through the biggest hits, the audience gets a coherent, emotional tale of obsession, lust, love and loneliness. Kasia Lins' signature cinematic, dark arrangements combine cold-wave aesthetics with trip-hop, subtle electronics and piano, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere in which Ciechowski's lyrics resound with renewed vigor.
There will also be unique accents on the stage — the original Yamaha EX5 synthesizer, once owned by Grzegorz Ciechowski, is used during the concerts, which gives the project an additional symbolic dimension. Each performance is enriched by carefully prepared visuals, thanks to which the concert becomes not only a musical event, but also an audiovisual spectacle full of dramaturgy.
Awarded with three Fryderyk Awards, the project Obywatelka K.L. is a proposal for both loyal fans of Grzegorz Ciechowski's work and listeners who want to discover his lesser-known compositions in bold, extremely moving interpretations by Kasia Lins.
Duration is subject to change.
The organizer of the event is CHAD CONCERTS.
