About the event

Kasia Lins plays the role of Obywatelka K.L., to re-read and relive Grzegorz Ciechowski's songs, both well-known and those that have so far remained in the shadow of the biggest hits.

“Obywatelka K.L.” is a project in which Lins conducts an intimate dialogue with Ciechowski. Her own artistic experience meets his work, full of tension, eroticism and anxiety.

Through the successive incarnations of Kasia Lins, the figure of a woman entangled in desires, fears and rituals that do not bring relief. This time the artist finds a new reflection for her in Ciechowski's songs. A citizen of K.L. is born of strength underpinned by fear, aware of the fragility of what she builds on. At the center remains love and its fleeting fulfillment. The intersection of these two artistic perspectives becomes a record of a journey together.

Citizen G.C. and Citizen K.L. Who is watching here and who is being watched?

Pianist, songwriter, composer. She started her musical career in Poland with the album “Wiersz” (2018), but the recognition of the music community was won by her next album entitled “Moja vina” (2020), which delighted both with the depth of the lyrics and the unique sound. After her, in the late autumn of 2023, the album “Omen” saw the light of day, which is a story of a kind of cinematic crime story, in which love affection and occupation can even lead to crime.

The year 2024 brought fans another surprise in the form of a series of singles: “Poison”, “Rania” and “I loved you to kill”. These tracks were released as part of the special release “Omen Deluxe”, which is the epilogue of the 2023 album. Also noteworthy is the new performance of the song “One Hundred Lives”, with the guest participation of Pezet. Cooperation with one of the most appreciated Polish rappers added new energy to the composition and highlighted the emotions dormant in it. Promoting the publishing single “Poison” for many weeks remained at the top of the charts of prestigious music stations and streaming services, and received a nomination for Fryderyk 2025 in the category Single of the Year.
