CATHARSIS

Katarsis was created in 2019 on the initiative of Klaipėda singer Lukas Radzevičius, who was soon joined by guitarist Alanas Brasas, bassist Emilija Kandratavičiūtė and drummer Jokūbas Andriulis. The band quickly began releasing singles, which received a lot of interest from the march - their second shared track “Vasara galvoj minoras” was among the top of the most popular songs in the country. They conquered the Lithuanian charts with “Tavo akys”, which they presented in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel. Katarsis were one of the highest rated performers by the jury, and it's hardly surprising since their melancholy mix of alt-rock and post-punk grabs attention at the moment. Their last concerts in Poland were of great interest, which can also be expected from the acoustic sets of Lithuanians at the beginning of the year.
