Already on November 28, 2026 at 19.00 in the RCK performance hall a unique concert performed by an EXCEPTIONAL ARTIST.
Katarzyna Groniec, born in Zabrze singer, author of lyrics and music. Winner of the main prize of the Festival of Young Talents in Poznań (1988), she made her debut with the role of Anka in the musical “Metro” in the Drama Theater (1991).
In 1997, she won the Grand Prix, the First Prize and the Journalists' Award at the Festival of Acting Song, where she sang “Unmasking the Song” by Hemar and “Amsterdam” by Brela.
In 2008, she was awarded the Alexander Bardini Master's Degree for outstanding artistic achievements in the field of acting song.
In 2023 she makes her debut as the author of the novel “Kundle” published in the publishing house Niza.
Winner of Fryderyk 2024 in the Literary and Poetic Song category for “Constellations”, a phenomenal work full of emotion and depth, produced by Warner Music/Adapter.
For her debut book “Kundle” [ed. Niche] was nominated for three awards:
Gdynia Literary Award,
Witold Gombrowicz Awards,
Conrad Awards.
The Witold Gombrowicz Prize Chapter awarded Katarzyna Groniec a distinction for her book “Kundle” in the form of a one-month residency in Vence, for a poignant, collective portrait of the Silesian city and the psychiatric hospital in Toszek,” explained Józef Olejniczak, a member of the chapter.
This is a completely different book about Silesia than the ones we know.
